Sven Rollenhagen, founder and director.
I graduated in Social Work Education from the University of Östersund in 1986 which included a pre-research course. Since then I have been continually working with addiction and its surroundings, mostly with adolescents and young adults.
Most recently I have focused more and more on online gaming addiction. I have continually taken different courses within the area of addiction and I have also engaged in studies in my own spare time. The reason for this has been that online gaming addiction is still somewhat new and many countries lack therapist experience and the education programmes to address this issue.
In my work I am responsible for councelling ,testing and treatment for both Swedish customers and international customers.
I find that this work is a lot of fun and that it is very rewarding to be able to connect with smart and creative “gamers” from all over the world!
Also, I enjoy adventure sports like kayaking and skiing, and I admit to having a great passion for delicious dark chocolate.

I studied Psychology at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand before travelling to Stockholm in 2008. I hope to use my own personal experience with gaming in addition with my studies in human behavior.
I myself have played a wide variety of games from Mario Brothers in the early 90’s right through to recent releases, including the controversial Grand Theft Auto Series and World of Warcraft. I consider myself a youth of the first online generation and have grown up seeing the issues online gaming addiction raises first hand.
I have always enjoyed playing sports and being active in my life. I play basketball when I can and I am always keen to do some Rock climbing, Diving and training to keep fit.
